Effective October 13, 2026

Biblarm is an alarm clock that turns off after you read a Bible passage aloud. We built it so that your mornings, your voice and your habits stay yours.

In short: Biblarm does not sell or share your personal data. Accounts are optional. If you create one, we keep only your email address and a user ID to sign you in. There are no analytics and no ads.

Your voice

When an alarm rings and you choose to read, Biblarm uses your iPhone’s microphone and Apple’s speech recognition to follow along with the passage. Recognition runs on your iPhone. Your voice is not recorded, saved or sent to us, and the microphone is only used while the reading screen is open. You can always type the passage instead.

What stays on your iPhone

  • Your alarms, reading plans and settings
  • Your reading history and streak
  • Verses you save
  • Alarm sounds you import from Files

This information is stored only on your device, even if you have an account. We can’t see it. Deleting Biblarm deletes it. You can also delete alarms, saved verses and imported sounds inside the app.

Your account (optional)

You can use Biblarm without an account. If you create one, with Sign in with Apple or an email and password, we collect your email address and a user ID. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose “Hide My Email”, we only receive Apple’s private relay address.

They are stored with Supabase, which processes them for us, and used only to sign you in. We don’t use them for marketing and never sell or share them. Your alarms, streak and saved verses stay on your iPhone and aren’t uploaded to your account.

You can delete your account anytime in Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes your email address and user ID from our systems.

Widgets and notifications

Biblarm’s widgets and optional daily verse notifications are created on your iPhone. They may show a verse, your next alarm time or your streak on your Home Screen or Lock Screen.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store. Biblarm never sees your payment details. Apple’s handling of that information is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Permissions

Biblarm asks for the microphone, speech recognition, alarms and (if you turn them on) notifications. Each is optional and can be changed anytime in the Settings app.

Children

Biblarm is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
